Donors list their items with quantity and location. Beneficiaries browse and reserve nearby food, then pick it up directly from the donor.

About us

The “Food Connect Project-Connecting Food Systems in Southern Europe” is a co-funded initiative under the LIFE Programme (Project Number: 101148772), running in Cyprus, Malta, and Portugal. It builds on the success of the successful LIFE FOODPRINT, which first launched a platform to connect food donors with those in need of help to reduce food waste. Now, Food Connect is taking things to the next level!

Join us in the fight against food waste! If you’re a restaurant, shop, company, organization, or business in the Food & Hospitality or Agricultural sector, or even a CSO, food bank, public body, or municipality, you can sign up as a donor or receiver and make a real difference in your community. If you are an individual receiver, our platform makes it easy to find available donations nearby.
